In winter, the Sauerland is transformed into a real winter wonderland. This makes your winter holiday at the family hotel particularly beautiful.
Take the whole family on a trip tobogganing or explore the surroundings on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. There is plenty for every member of the family to experience in the Sauerland during the cold season.
A real skiing holiday is no problem - optionally also with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or snowboarding.
There are a few smaller mountains nearby whose ski slopes are perfect for beginners.

Thanks to our long hours of care, you can sit back and relax whenever you want: We even take care of babies and toddlers up to 10 hours a day (63.5 hours per week). This turns your holiday into a real time-out!

For a successful winter holiday with children, not only classic destinations like the Alps are recommended. There are also family-friendly places in the Sauerland where skiing, tobogganing and walks in the snow are possible. In the Sonnenpark, kids not only have fun outside, but can also let off steam indoors.
To make your family holiday perfect, children of all ages get their money's worth with us. Of course, our accommodations are equipped accordingly. If you want a skiing holiday, you don't have to stay in a mountain hut, you can also choose a comfortable hotel with 4 stars!

From when can children attend a ski course and toboggan?
Children can gain their first experience in a ski course from around 3 to 4 years of age. However, it is important that they are motor and emotionally ready for it and are on a suitable ski slope. In specialised ski schools, kids learn the basics in a playful way and gain confidence in the snow. Most ski resorts are geared towards younger children. So nothing stands in the way of a skiing holiday!
Holidays in the snow are of course also possible beyond the ski slope and mountain railway. All you need is a sledge! You can go tobogganing with your offspring from the age of one. Put the child in front of you on the toboggan, hold him or her tightly - and off you go!
