Baby indoor pool
Children love water - and babies even more so. In our indoor baby pool with a rest area for parents, the little ones can splash around safely.
It offers a small, gently sloping paddling pool and to make sure that your baby feels really comfortable, the water temperature is 31°C.
Is the baby swimming pool perhaps not enough for your darling? Then it's off to the indoor pool for kids.
Kids' indoor pool
The children's indoor pool offers a water grotto and a great snake slide for the first slide attempts - pure fun!
Of course, the bath water is heated to a pleasant 31°C.
If you would like to take a few relaxing slides away from the hustle and bustle of the kids' indoor pool, we recommend you use our adult indoor pool.
Large indoor pool
The large indoor pool offers parents the perfect opportunity to swim in peace or relax in the whirlpool with soothing massage jets while watching the kids splash around.
In the nearby family sauna, relaxation lovers get their money's worth and enjoy calming wellness together with their children.
Family wave slide
30 meters long, 2 meters wide! Our family wave slide is pure fun for young and old. Not only the kids screech and squeak, but also mum and dad can watch the joy.
Who will set the next speed record? Nobody should miss this experience. The indoor water slide is a highlight throughout the year and rounds off the offer of the bathing world.
chill-out-area
The adult indoor pool has been completely renovated. In addition to a new floor and ceiling, there is now also a spacious chill-out area with family bunks and daybeds.
These invite you to linger and relax for extended periods of time and also offer a pleasant level of privacy.
Sonnenpark swimming school
Learning to swim on holiday - for all kids from 5 years on! Nowhere else can you learn to swim in a more relaxed way than on a family holiday, because learning to swim is so much more fun in a relaxed holiday atmosphere! And because the courses take place directly in the hotel, you don't have to travel long distances to get there.
With individual private lessons (25 € per hour) with our trained swimming instructors, your kids will learn to swim in a playful way. For further information please contact our reception team directly. You can book and pay for your swimming lessons directly at the hotel during your stay.
Carefree swimming – we’ve thought of everything!
A vacation at Sonnenpark means relaxing without having to worry about the details. To make your stay as easy as possible, we’ve already taken care of many things. Pool noodles are available on request, and if you’ve forgotten something: swim diapers, swim trunks, and floaties can be purchased at reception.
You can leave your towels at home too: the bath towels from your holiday apartment can, of course, be used in our pool areas. Fresh towels are also available for you in the nearby family sauna. Just arrive, unwind, and enjoy the water fun with the whole family.

The year-round heated outdoor pool is a true highlight in every season. During the warmer months, it offers a refreshing cool-down and pure swimming fun.
It also provides fantastic opportunities to relax on the wooden terrace or the spacious sunbathing lawn.
The 28°C warm water is also inviting in the winter months. It is simply fantastic to swim laps in the steam when the snow piles up all around. One simply has to experience this.
The drink bar at the Adventure Land is within easy reach. There you can always get a refreshing Krombacher beer and other soft drinks as well as coffee. Here everything has been thought of to ensure a relaxing vacation.

How long can you stay in the pool with children?
That depends on the child! Babies should be taken out after 20–30 minutes, while toddlers can usually handle up to an hour. Watch for blue lips or shivering – that’s a clear sign it’s time for a break.
In summer, your little ones can warm up on our lawn or by running around on the nearby pirate playground.
What does “family-friendly hotel” mean?

Are the swimming pools safe for small children?
Safety is a top priority in our pool areas – so you can relax with peace of mind. The baby indoor pool is just 30 cm deep with a gentle slope.
Toddlers have their own pool with a water depth of 80 cm and plenty of space to play – ensuring little ones and older kids don’t get in each other’s way.
ARE THERE QUIET AREAS TO RELAX IN THE CHILDREN’S HOTEL WITH A POOL?
In addition to our children’s pools, we offer a separate indoor pool for adults with a whirlpool. There's also a chill-out area with family alcoves and daybeds – perfect for relaxing after swimming.
If you prefer to unwind in the fresh air, head to the sunbathing lawn or our sunny terrace with a nearby beverage bar.

Absolutely! The baby and children’s indoor pools are heated to a cozy 31°C. The parents’ indoor pool sits at a pleasant 30°C, and if you're looking for extra comfort, the whirlpool pampers you at 33°C.
Even outdoors, the water stays inviting year-round: the outdoor pool is heated to 28°C – even when it’s snowing outside.
